Irma Live Edge Charcuterie Board Solid Live Oak Slab

A solid live edge block of Live Oak makes an impressive statement no matter where it sits! At nearly a one and a half square feet of surface area this piece is no exception.

Hurricane Irma fell this majestic Live Oak, after the storm we brought its pieces back to be dried over the next few years. While most of this tree became tables, some limbs fractured and lent themselves perfectly to a new life as serving boards. This is one of the last pieces we have.

Two sides of this board are cut clean forming a square back, while the remainder is left live edge. Pacific blue mica resin fills all the checks and cracks of the piece, providing not only stability but lending a treat for the eyes. This board is finished with multiple coats of food grade oil and beeswax. Progressively buffed down to form a satin mirror sheen.

At a whopping 1 1/2" thick, this board is heavy weighing in at 12lbs. Non skid feet are secured to the bottom in case you decide to use it as a cutting board.

Please only hand wash this item. Never place in dishwasher or submerge in water.
