Snow Capped Horizons

An icy steel river flows beneath the splendor of a snow capped mountain. Frigid tones are tempered with the warm autumn colors of the forest which have not yet given way to winters grasp. Oil on stretch canvas.

The frame pictured is a recovered store frame made of rustic wood layered in a stepped assembly. The back is laminated with a new sheet of hardboard.  Original coating in oil with no sheen. Solid wood.
